Our opening hours are from 8am-7.30pm. Out of these hours a live-in member of staff will be contactable via their mobile, which will be provided upon check-in.
If you think you may be arriving after 7.30pm this is not a problem. We politely ask guests if they could let us know prior to arrival so that we may make arrangements.
To make a reservation we require a pre-payment of 50% of the total booking fee at the time of booking to secure the reservation. The outstanding 50% of the booking fee will be automatically charged to the card details provided in the early morning of departure unless specified.
If booking direct, we offer a 72-hour booking cancellation policy. This means that if you cancel 72 hours prior to the date of arrival the 50% deposit is fully refundable. If the booking is cancelled within the 72 hours prior to arrival the deposit is non-refundable and the total reservation amount will be fully charged.
Please note that, if bookings are made via other online booking websites and travel agents such as Booking.com and Laterooms, reservations are non-refundable and the total booking fee is fully charged at the time of booking.
Minimum Night Stays
During our busy periods we may operate a 2-3 night minimum stay. This is generally in June, July, August and September as well as Bank Holidays and the Golowan Festival. However, from time to time we may have rooms that we are able to offer a 1 night stay in. If you are looking for a 1 night stay during the dates mentioned above please do give us a call on 01736 365 664 or email email@example.com and we will be more than happy to help.
No Smoking Policy
Artist Residence has a strict no smoking policy within the building. If a guest is found smoking, or if there are signs of smoking within the premises, a £100 charge will be automatically levied on the card details provided when making the reservation. If a room is found not to be in a condition for the next guests due to smoking within the room you will be required to pay for their accommodation until the room is lettable again.
A charge of £30 will be deducted from the card details provided by the guest if keys are lost or taken home and not returned. This covers the change of lock, key fob and engraving and cost for a new key.
Please note that due to a high volume of lost property, we reserve the right to charge for the postage and packaging of the item(s) and an additional £10 admin fee. We also reserve the right to give any lost property to charity or dispose of it two weeks from the stay date. Artist Residence is not liable for any lost property.
Guests are fully liable for any damages and theft during their stay and will be charged in full to cover any costs occurred.
If you do sign up for our mailing list, your data will not be disclosed to any company outside of Artist Residence and we will only contact you about Artist Residence Hotels and our other ventures.
The Artist Residence site includes a variety of materials created by different members of the Artist Residence team. Although these works may be freely accessible on the World Wide Web and may not include any statement about copyright, the works are protected by copyright. Users must assume that works are protected by copyright until they learn otherwise.
